If you have seen Miracle on 34th Street, Rebel Without a Cause or West Side Story, this week's style icon should be easily recognized. This week we pay tribute to the style of the late Natalie Wood. Natalie was captivating audiences on and off the screen from a young age as a child star in Hollywood. She combines sweet and innocent with edgy, sexy and rebellious.

Whether she is in her chic bikini, draped in pearls or on the set of one of her many films, Natalie Wood is the embodiment of "ladylike."

We Love: Boots

If there is one (ok, maybe more than one) thing that you need to kick start your fall wardrobe it is a FABULOUS pair of boots! And everyone is in luck this year because no style is going to be seen more than others. Whether you like wedges, riding boots, platforms or booties, you are guaranteed to be topping Fall's "Best Dressed" lists as long as you are sporting some beautiful boots!

  

We love boots in the fall because you can pair them with absolutely ANY outfit. Skinny jeans, cocktail dresses and printed skirts all look incredible with some fab footwear to accentuate your outfit.

So now that we have the fall footwear, bring on the cooler weather! Because we can only walk around the house in our beloved boots for so long...

Model of The Week

One of our faves, Christina Fleenor, is Pink Slip's Model of the Week! Even though we miss her like crazy and wish we were able to see her more often now that she's a college gal, she is still looking B-E-A-UTIFUL as ever! She is wearing one of our most popular dresses from our summer collection, the black and white chevron print with elastic waist. She wore this on her final day of sorority recruitment and it was the perfect pick for the occasion. Good luck with everything and congrats on becoming a Pi Phi at Western Michigan, Christina!

Although she is remembered for her giving nature, philanthropy, and her sad and untimely death, we remember Princess Diana as the most regal of style icons. Simple shapes, classic cuts, and a hamptons-esque color story, we loved her style!

With Fashion Week in full swing we have been scooping up all the inspiration our favorite design houses have been dropping down the runway! We have seen some pretty strong themes for Spring 13 so far such as stripes, polkadots, black and white, and VERY bold patterns. Leather, lace, cutouts, and very bright colors have been showing up in many of the dream shows.
