This Week's Jam

In honor of the Fun. concert tonight, it's only appropriate that we have been jamming to their songs all week. What we are really into is their song "Carry On" from the "Some Nights" album. We are so excited for the concert and hope they throw in some of their old school jams too! Are any of you going to be at the Riviera for the show tonight?!

This Week's Jam

You know that we absolutely LOVE Bruno Mars, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that we are jamming to his new single, "Young Girls," non-stop. If there are any SNL fans out there, you would have seen Bruno Mars perform this last Saturday when he was the show's host and performer. If his new CD, "Unorthodox Jukebox," is going to be full of jams like "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Young Girls," we can assure you that we will be purchasing it the second it is released in December!

This Week's Jam: Noisettes - That Girl!

We are just in love with the Noisettes right now. They've had so many great hits off their albums and we're just enjoying rocking out to this indie pop band in our spare time... well mostly in our car when we're pretending it is still summer. Enjoy "That Girl!":

This Week's Jam: What's New For Fall

It's been a minute since Saddle Creek Records released the lone Desaparecidos album "Read Music, Speak Spanish", featuring lead singer Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes. We wait for fall every year to hit up this b-side "What's New For Fall" - it's an autumn favorite.

So go download this track and while you're at it we suggest you purchase the entire album. It's a true classic and still amazing ten years after its initial release!

This Week's Jam

We are a little embarrassed to share this week's jam with ya'll, but we just can't get it out of our heads!! Who are we kidding, we're not embarrassed at all that we've been listening to Taylor Swift's new song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at least 68 times a day. Even though the country-pop sensation has received quite some scrutiny about her latest single from her upcoming album Red, she has done it again with another hit. However, this time she has achieved her first ever NUMBER ONE hit and broke the record for the best-selling single by a female artist. She is showing everyone what she's made of and there is no stopping this blonde bombshell. All we know is that we will NEVER EVER be getting into a relationship with Tay Tay, but we thank all the guys who have because we wouldn't be jamming without their failed attempts to make her happy.

This Week's Jam

This week we discovered a tune with a repetitive melody that will without a doubt have you humming the chorus hours after hearing it. Cher Lloyd's "Want U Back" ft. Astro has an extremely catchy beat that is super easy to sing along with! Cher is an English recording artist who got her claim to fame after finishing fourth on X factor because she was shortly after signed by Simon Cowell to Sony Music subsidiary Syco Music. We are anxious to hear more from Cher considering she is merely 19 years old, Keep it up girlfriend!

This Week's Jam

This week it was incredibly hard to limit ourselves to just ONE jam to share with you. After some tedious deliberation and a week of listening to nothing but 90's hits (some may beg to differ), we have come to you with a JAM! Do the lyrics "Cleopatra, comin' atcha" ring a bell?! We hope so! We can't believe that it took us so long to bring this song back to life. The lyrics are priceless, the beat is catchy and the girls in the music video sure do have some wicked moves (also debatable)! We hope that this brings you back to a very happy place!

This Week's Jam

With Lollapalooza coming up this weekend, we are preparing by listening to some of our favorite bands who will be headlining the show. The band we can't get enough of this week is Passion Pit, who will be playing tomorrow. However, we are lucky enough to be going to their pre-show tonight at the House of Blues!! We could NOT be more excited for this show. We have been jamming to their new album, "Gossamer," trying to memorize every word to each song. Most people are familiar with the song "Take a Walk" and even though we love it, we wanted to share a jam that might not be as popular, but is certainly just as good!! This week's jam is "I'll Be Alright" by Passion Pit. Enjoy, peeps!

This Week's Jam

We know that this jam has been playing for a few weeks now, but we can't get enough!! It's one of those songs that you can pick up singing at any point when you hear it on the radio. This song will always remind us of summer and having an absolute blast! It's going to take a lot for us to get sick of this baby! We know that it's a bomb jam because even our parents like it...and sing along to EVERY single word, despite our sincere requests not to.

This Week's Jam

Whether you are 15 or 55, we know that everyone LOVES this week's jam! Whether you've heard it in movies, on your iPod, or you hear your parents belt it out every now and then, Hall and Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True" is such a classic, and an instant pick me up jam if we do say so ourselves! This is definitely one of those songs that will lead to some strained vocal cords, so sing on and enjoy!

This Week's Jam: Karmin

Okay, we honestly just cannot stop with this. We think it's so catchy, we love the faux-rap break down, the video, the hair... this is our new 'Call Me Maybe' for those scorned when that phone call did not make it our way! Check out Karmin here:: KARMIN MUSIC ONLINE!

This Week's Jam: One More Night

Just when we started thinking tuning into "The Voice" was our only chance to admire the beautiful Adam Levine, we ate our words when his long-time band Maroon 5 dropped yet another album "Overexposed". This album has already gained some major press when it's single "Payphone" dropped, becoming the anthem of our summer thus far. But hang up the phone people, because this week's jam is "One More Night." We must admit, from the opening of this music video featuring Levine's fatherly instincts, our eyes were glued to the screen. And why are we getting severe deja vu looking at his baby mama? No friends our eyes aren't playing tricks on us, that's indeed Minka Kelly! This song has an extremely catchy beat leaving us humming "do do do do do do do do" while parading around Pink Slip. Plus, if we get to envision Adam Levine in a boxing match while being totally captivated by this song.. sold.

This Week's Jam

This week we are super into mash-ups and remixes at Pink Slip, so we have been listening to The Hood Internet non-stop as we prepare for our summer break! Currently, our favorite jam from The Hood Internet is " I XXXOed." We feel like it is the perfect summer song. If you are a fan of mash-up make sure to check out The Hood Internet! They have some bomb jams!!

This Week's Jam

If you know anything about us, it's that we absolutely love and adore Whitney Houston (R.I.P.)! One of our favorite songs of Whitney's is "How Will I Know." While we were mourning her death, yet celebrating her life and incredible talent, we came across this awesome cover of "How Will I Know" by Evan Dando as we listened to every Whitney song YouTube had to offer. Whitney's version of this song makes you wanna sing at the top of your lungs and dance around the room but Evan Dando's acoustic version is the complete opposite, which we are so into! His rendition of "How Will I Know" is so different from the original but still shows how great of a song this is! We hope that our girl Whitney would be proud and love this jam as much as we do!

This Week's Jam

http://stereogum.com/1063972/rostam-mashes-up-call-me-maybe-and-walking-on-broken-glass/mp3s/

This week's jam is combining two of our favorite songs EVER written. "Call Me Maybe" meets "Walking On Broken Glass"..."Call Me on Broken Glass," if you will. This has got to be the best thing since sliced bread!! Everyone is still loving on Carly Rae Jepsen for coming out with her fab track and we all know that the second you hear the name Annie Lennox you think of "Walking On Broken Glass," so we're loving the combination of the past and the present into one AWESOME jam! Sing your hearts out, friends!

This Week's Jam

We have another old school jam for you this week. "St. Elmo's Fire" has been playing non-stop in Pink Slip, and if we're not listening to it, we are definitely singing it! Even if you don't know every word to this song we guarantee that you will know the refrain. And if you find yourself listening to this jam over, and over, and over again remember that you can always watch the movie! ENJOY!
