We Love: Plaid

By this point, almost everyone has at least one plaid clothing item in their closet. This fashion trend has not just appeared on the scene recently, but we have been seeing it since Spring and as early as 2009! The array of patterns and colors is endless when it comes to plaid and this opens up a world for those in love with mixing patterns.

For the holidays: Pair a plaid shirt with your favorite party piece--sequins, tulle or chiffon are all fabulous options.

Work wardrobe: Put a solid color sweater over your favorite plaid shirt and expose the collar. Pair a statement necklace, black pants or a skirt and your favorite shoes with the ensemble and you're ready to get down to business!

Weekend wear: Pop a little plaid when you are getting ready to hit the town! Whether it is a shirt or blazer, you are going to be fashion-forward with your plaid pieces. Pair your plaid shirt with your favorite denim, some heels or boots, and a leather jacket and you're ready to go. Or throw a plaid blazer over something neutral to add a hint of pattern.
