Pink Slip is sponsoring our first ever ‘Pink Slip Winter Waltz’ where 30 local teens, and budding fashionistas, will take a walking tour of Chicago while decked out in their best prom and homecoming ensembles. We are spending the months of November and December organizing events that give Chicago’s up and coming arts community the tools to succeed by promoting self-confidence in young women. Starting the tour at 3pm, our group will make its way from 100 S. State Street to the 900 shops of North Michigan Avenue, spreading the word of positive self image.
Owner Lauren McKeague and Designer Jessica Bohler have both graduated from Columbia College, worked together at various Chicago retail-based chains, and have made names for themselves in the south suburbs of Chicago at Pink Slip Dress Boutique. Our very own entrepreneurs are hoping to give back to the loyal group of girls who frequent our shop.
