Spring is here and summer is well on its way! We even have the warm weather this week to prove it! What better way to celebrate the season than by re-vamping your wardrobe?! This week we are naming Natalia Pink Slip's Model of the Week. Doesn't she look absolutely STUNNING in her champagne prom dress?1 She walked into our store and knew that this was HER dress! She didn't even try anything else on! The color, shape, beading...everything about her prom look is pure perfection! The natural makeup and elegant curled hair complement her dress so well. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day, Natalia! You will look back on this picture years from now and still smile the same way you did on prom night! Swoon: John Mayer

The Pink Slip Blog is bringing back some of our favorite topics to write about! These topics will include style icons, things we love, Pink Slip's pick of the week and new arrivals among others. We love keeping you in the know about the latest trends in fashion, pop culture and happenings at our store! Our favorite topic has to be "Pink Slip Swoon." This is where we will discuss who we're head over heels with that week and why we have taken such a liking to them! This week our Pink Slip Swoon is John C. Mayer. We cannot get enough of him! Not only does he have an incredible voice, but have you heard him on that guitar?! AMAZING! And John, you're not too hard on the eyes. We are so excited for his new album, Born & Raised, to be released on May 22nd. For some reason we don't think that the swooning over this guy will end any time soon!

Headbands, Headbands, Headbands!

We are SO into headbands these days! Whether you add one to your prom-do, throw one in for school or pair it with your favorite Pink Slip dress for a night on the town, we are big fans of the band! Many of you have been asking when we will be getting more in and we are happy to tell you that they are here! There will be local vendors here at Pink Slip along with Corrine Coventry of Premier Designs Jewelry and The Gold Refinery trading cash for gold! 25 Days of Sparkle- Day 21

This picture encompasses all of Liz's true loves: hair, floral arrangements, and sparkles! Our hair stylist-to-be decided to combine some of the most useful knowledge she has retained in cosmetology school (she has recently mastered the bun) and high school (her floral design class) to create the perfect hairstyle! And of course she wouldn't just add any silver flower to her beautiful bun, but a SPARKLY SILVER FLOWER seemed much more appropriate! She also coordinated her scarf to match the flower!

25 Days of Sparkle- Day 20

Meet Brie, the human disco ball! She loves her silver sequin sweatshirt and it is perfect for Day 20 of 25 Days of Sparkle as we're coming close to the end of our favorite time of the year! The sequins make the sweatshirt a little more versatile and allow it to be worn with anything from leggings to your favorite pair of jeans!

25 Days of Sparkle- Day 19

Another statement ring (on a perfectly manicured hand we might add)! A ring is a great substitute if you are not someone who typically wears bracelets. They both draw attention and can add the final sparkly touch to an outfit! The best thing about Taylor's ring is that it has a stretch band, allowing it to fit any size finger. Pink Slip has a ton of new stretch rings so make sure you come to check them out soon! It could be exactly what your Christmas or New Year's dress needs to take it from being a great outfit to an unforgettable one!

We can't get enough of Kath's sequin tee! The scarf she paired with this outfit matches the sequins perfectly! Whoever said that a comfortable and casual outfit must be plain has obviously never been to Pink Slip!

Lauren is wearing her favorite SPARKLY dangle earrings. She cannot wait for prom this year and is already getting into the spirit! Lauren's have Ab crystals in them and pick up a variety of different colors depending on what you're wearing them with, which we love! Dangle earrings are popular whether you're going to prom or a holiday party. Pink Slip has a ton of new earrings in that we cannot wait for you to see! Lauren loves her all sequin top! The best thing about a neutral shirt like this is that you can pair it with any color accessories, shoes, and other clothing items. Today she's dressed up wearing a black bandage mini skirt, tights and ankle boots, but you could also throw on a pair of jeans and a sweater with this shirt for a simpler, every day look.

Here is a more non-traditional member of our team that is sparkling! 25 Days Of Sparkle: Day 7

Here is Day 7 of the 25 Days of Sparkle!

Liz decided that she misses school dances so much that she would try on this new lovely yellow dress. She couldn't get enough of the bedazzled neck! The rhinestones and the AB crystals are BEAUTIFUL! We let her get away with it because she's a great employee AND she's showing off one of our awesome new prom pieces! This dress is a very elegant type of 'sparkle'. Stop in soon!

25 Days of Sparkle: Day 4

If you couldn't tell, we LOVE sequin skirts! Beth paired her sequin skirt with a simple, white, long sleeve shirt with gold button accents on the shoulders. The layered gold necklace complements the shoulder buttons and really pops against the white shirt!

25 Days Of Sparkle: Day 3

Our beloved sequin skirt is back in black! Paired with her neutral tank and light denim blazer, Brie's skirt pulls the whole look together and absolutely POPS on her! Remember that this skirt also comes in silver, so come into Pink Slip and get them while they're still here. We all agree that this is a holiday must-have!

This silver flower rhinestone bracelet is one of our favorite accessories! It is a neutral color so it can be perfectly paired with any outfit. Beth is dressing it up with a dress and blazer, but this is something that also looks great with a more casual outfit such as jeans and a scarf! We love pieces that can be worn whether you're out running errands or going to a holiday party!

It's that time of year again...TIME TO SPARKLE! Pink Slip's "25 Days of Sparkle" is back and we're so excited to adorn ourselves in sequins, rhinestones, glitter and all things bedazzled for the next month! Starting today, December 1st, we will post a new blog every day until Christmas with a picture of one of Pink Slip's finest employees sporting their absolute favorite item of clothing, piece of jewelry or pair of shoes that SPARKLE!
