Model(s) Of The Week!

This week we have 2 special models, Arin Smidt and Sabrina Morris.
These two dudes participated in our holiday fashion show and were nice enough to show off some of the pieces in our boutique collection!
We are excited to announce and in January, we will have one side of the store dedicated to our boutique collection! We can't wait to show you how we're changing things up!

Model of the Week: Amanda Litviak

Look at this knock-out! Amanda Litviak was a model in our fashion show, The Nutcracker (Not So) Suite. Can you believe that this babe came straight from basketball practice?! We wish that we were able to look half as good! We know what you're thinking, and yes, we agree...she would TOTALLY put those Victoria Secret models to shame! Amanda wore an incredible custom dress by Pink Slip's beloved designer, Jessica Bohler. The's dress was definitely a show-stopper, to say the least.

The highlight of the dress was the back! It was open with a chiffon bow that tied behind her neck. Absolutely stunning!

Model of the Week: Mackenzie Smith

"Hello, BOMBSHELL!" are the only words that come to mind when we see this stunning picture of model, Mackenzie Smith, from our holiday fashion show on Sunday, November 4th. Talk about a jaw-dropping, head-turning dress! There is no doubt that this is going to be one of the best-selling prom dresses this season. Mackenzie wore it so well that people literally wanted to buy it right off of her at the fashion show! Everything from the shape to the color to the the elaborate beading is just perfect. We know that Mackenzie loved the dress just as much as everyone else did because she bought it for her senior prom. We can't wait to see her in it on the big day-we know she is going to look as beautiful as ever!!

Fashion Show Recap

We cannot say thank you enough to everyone who came out to see our holiday fashion show yesterday. It could not have gone any better and we hope that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did! These shows are worth every minute of hard work that we put into them. The models were incredible and totally rocked the runway! Everyone was amazing and we're loving looking at all of the pictures. Have you ever wanted to model in one of Pink Slip's fashion shows? Well here is your chance! We will be having our biggest and most extravagant holiday fashion event to date on Sunday, November 4th. If you are interested in modeling, make sure to attend one of the model meetings to get all of the information. We'll fill you in on the theme, the details, and the excitement we have for the holiday show! We will be hosting two meetings on June 4th and June 5th at 7pm at Pink Slip Boutique. Get your friends, sisters, cousins, neighbors or any girl who would be interested in participating in this show and come to one of these meetings. This summer we have been working hard here at Pink Slip Dress Boutique to make the new in-store changes for the Fall Fashion Show Event! Pink Slip Dress Boutique is presenting the fashion forward Americana style looks of the elegant first lady, Jackie Kennedy. In order to create the presidential theme we have added Aqua blue accents to the walls as decorations along with other renovations. The store looks awesome right now and we are so excited for everyone to come shop when we re-open on August 2nd! Fashion Show Tickets Now Available ONLINE!!

That’s right Ladies and Gents…Fashion Show tickets can now be purchased from the comfort of your own home! So no need to kick off those bunny slippers, all you need to do is click here to purchase yours!

The show will be held on Saturday, February 27th. Doors open at 7p.m. and the production will start at 8p.m. If you purchase your ticket online it will be held for you at the front door on the day of the event. Your ticket admission includes a $10.00 coupon to use at Pink Slip Boutique, as well as your food and drink for the evening. The event will be held at 13400 Bell Road in Lemont, IL.

Major Update!

Hey Guys – So it has been awhile since we have given you a big update, so fasten your seat belts because here we go…

First – PROM! We are so excited to have all of these beautiful dresses filling the store. They are so stunning and we are having a great time helping you find the perfect one for your dance! You know what’s even better? We have been getting new shipment throughout the past few weeks, so the store keeps looking better and better.

Second – FASHION SHOW! Do you have your ticket yet?!? If not you need to come by the store ASAP to pick yours up before they are all gone! We would hate to have you miss the fashion event of the season. The show is really taking shape and we are getting so pumped to show you what we have been cooking up. It is going to be so fun.

Third – TWIRP/TURNABOUT! We are so happy everyone has been finding the perfect dress to wear to TWIRP. But we know what some of you may be thinking… ”Wait, I haven’t gotten my dress yet...now I am going to have to wear that weird thing Aunt So-and-So got me for Christmas!!" Well fear not! We have a great selection for you to choose from. Come by the store and we will help pick out the perfect ensemble!

MAJOR UPDATE!

Hello Friends, Lauren here. It's been a while since I've given you a big update on Pink Slip so here it goes! Get EXCITED!

First- Homecoming season has been so fun. We have been selling through pretty dresses like crazy. You know, there is good news and bad news about sell through - Good news: you guys are finding stuff you love for your dance, bad news the racks get empty on the weekends. HOWEVER, this means every week we are getting new dresses! So that's totally exciting.

NEXT- FALL CASUAL DRESSES!! In a few short weeks some of Pink Slip's pretty pieces will be going on SALE. Check the website or the blog for more info! We will be changing out our inventory for FALL! We will have cute casual dresses. Isn't that exciting! Check out the pocket friendly price points coming in Mid October!

Pink Slip Jobs - We have had massive amounts of emails and calls asking if Pink Slip is hiring. Currently we are not hiring, we have a full, fun, silly, hard working staff that we appreciate so much! However, Pink Slip will be taking on more staff during the Prom Season.

Jewelry - Pink Slip gets new jewelry about every two weeks. Stop in for some cute accessories to change out your fall wardrobe.

Fashion Show - Were you one of the lucky people who attended our Fall Fashion show? If you were then you know how great it turned out! We had a 30 look runway show on September 12, 2009 that couldn't have been more fun and exciting. Check out the pictures coming to our website soon, and your local papers!
