There is something really wonderful and romantic about getting a card in the mail. It gets depressing when the only people who want to contact you are bill collectors, Publisher's Clearning House (I may already be a winner!), and the new Chinese restaurant up the street.
When you check the mail you always open the handwritten envelopes first. Is is an invitation so some rad party, a very belated birthday check from grandma, or a some sort of secret admirer?
